Fascist Tommy Robinson is standing as an ‘independent’ candidate for the North West in the Euro elections on 23 May while far right UKIP are standing a full slate of candidates including party leader Gerard Batten (London) Carl Benjamin – Sargon of Akkad (South West) and Mark Meechan (Count Dankula) in Scotland.
Benjamin (who sent a rape tweet to MP Jess Phillips) and Meechan are Alt-right figures while Batten has been the key figure driving UKIP further and further to the far right.
On 18-19 May we are calling for a UK wide mobilisation to support campaigners in the North West fighting to stop Tommy Robinson and the South West where Carl Benjamin is campaigning
Across the whole of the North -West region – from Carlisle to Crewe, Liverpool to Manchester – we will hold rallies and protests, organise leafleting and campaigning to get the message out: Use your vote to stop Tommy Robinson being elected to the European Parliament.
We will also be campaigning against UKIP in all areas, who are heavily linked to Robinson, the violent Democratic Football Lads Alliance and other far right groups.
