Dorset march and rally for slavery justice – Saturday 17 July, 11.30am

Richard Drax is said to be the richest MP in the UK. He owns 15,000 acres of Dorset farmland, plus properties across the country. He also owns Drax Hall Estate – a sugar plantation in Barbados established in the 1640s and run with slave labour for over 200 years.

The Caricom Reparations Commission calls on Richard Drax to pass the estate to the people of Barbados, to be used for the benefit of the community. Join anti-racists and trade unions to say: “Time’s up, Mr Drax!”

Assemble: beyond World’s End pub, DT11 9EW (off A31 road). Solidarity with Barbados: Drax Hall plantation for the people!
