We note the disproportionate infection rates & deaths amongst black communities & workers during the COVID-19 crisis.
We celebrate the #BlackLivesMatter movement that has developed globally in the wake of the killing of George Floyd.
We further note the use of scapegoating by government, press and the far right of refugees and migrants.
We believe trade unions have to be at the heart of the anti-racist struggle.
We resolve to:
1) Affiliate to Stand Up To Racism
2) To support and widely promote the Stand Up To Racism online conference on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 October.
