Our next weekend of action to “Keep racism out of the election” 3 & 4 June

Stand Up To Racism produced 50k leaflets with MEND encouraging people to register to vote AND to use there vote against racism as part of the “Keep Racism Out of the Election” campaign.

Last Friday (19 May) tens of thousands of these leaflets went into Mosques across Britain.

On Sunday Stand Up To Racism campaigners worked with members of DPAC in Croydon Central, one of London’s key marginal seats, encouraging people to register to vote.

We have produced a video on voter registration which you see elsewhere on this website.

We are organising a further weekend of action on the 3 & 4 of June. We are encouraging Stand Up To Racism supporters to work with other campaigners on Saturday 3 June to encourage people to vote on 8 June against racist policies.

Then on Sunday 4 June we will be encouraging local groups to help target key marginal seats as we did in Croydon (below).

At present we are hi-lighting the following constituencies: Derby North, Croydon Central, Ealing Central & Acton, Birmingham Edgbaston, Cardiff North, Sheffield Hallam, Leeds north West, Bristol North West and Bury North.

A new Stand Up To Racism flyer for the last weeks of the election will be available in the next couple of days. You can bulk order at info@standuptoracism.org.uk
